Kaavalan is a good movie to be watched by the whole family. The movie has a simple story, but the presentation is highly acclaimable.  This movie is a remake of Malayalam film

Bodyguard. The same director, who carved the Malayalam version has directed the Tamil version as well.

The movie has received tremendous response from all type of audiences, as Vijay's performance has been widely appreciated by all. The movie is completely different from his

previous commercials, wherein VIjay has played the role of simple romantic hero. The movie is very simple, straight forward and very neatly presented by Siddiq, because of which

it has been liked by all the people.

Ilayapathy Vijay has done it finally as his project Kaavalan which was a prestige to him is declared to be a hit. As usual, Vijay has justified the role and has carried the

entire movie on his shoulders and his fans will love to see him like this again in futute too. His looks, style, charm, onscreen presence has left memories in all audiences who

had seen the movie till now.

Vijay and Vadivelu combination has again worked really well under the same director after the superhit movie Friends, where they make the movie to be a good laugh riot whereever

required.

Asin carries the role of Meera in an elegant way. Asin will increase her stature in the Tamil film industry with this film. Mithra Kurian, who comes a friend of Asin and later

turns on to be the important role is another show stealer with her appealing looks and performance in climax too.

Other characters played by Roja, Moithra Kurian, Vadivelu, Livingstone, Mahadevan, Nizhalgal Ravi, MS Bhasker, Yuvashree, Madhan Bob, were also apt for their characters.

Apart from these, another positive abstract is the songs, wherein all the songs composed by VidyaSagar have been well received by the audiences. All songs have been neatly

presented by the director and Vijay's screen presence has made the songs to reach well, with Stepup and Yaradhu topping the charts.

Direction by Siddique has carved the film in an extra ordinary way. The director presented the movie in a novel way and that will appeal the major section of the

audiences, ensuring the movie to be a neat and good family entertainer.
