After going through a period of giving dud films like Suraa, Vettaikaran, ATM, Kuruvi, etc., Vijay now releases his 51st film 'Kaavalan' after having gone through so much pressure from theatre owners, distributors, political influences, etc. And he has successfully managed to cross all those hurdles and KAAVALAN RELEASES TODAY WORLDWIDE TO GREAT FANFARE AND EXCITEMENT!The theatre owners demanded compensation for the losses suffered due to previous Vijay films. The political parties are on a witch hunt due to Vijay's impending political entry (which could upset their vote banks in the upcoming elections). But the brave always finds a way to beat all the competition and the hurdles and come out victorious. Kaavalan is directed by Siddique who had earlier directed the Vijay-Surya blockbuster 'Friends'. Asin will be Vijay's pair in this film and Vadivelu plays the role of the comedian. Music by Vidyasgar is already popular among the fans. N.K.Ekambaram handles the cinematography and Romesh Babu is the producer of the film
