It’s yet another disappointment for Vijay fans. The ardent followers of Ilayathalapathy were curiously awaiting the release of ‘Kaavalan’ as it was affirmed as a different movie from his previous ones. Earlier plans were to release the film in December that had some unfavorable situations due to lots of releases.

But the same problem persists now as the producers haven’t found theatres for Pongal due to lots of releases that includes Sun Pictures’ ‘Aadukalam’ and Kalainyar Karunanidhi’s ‘Illaignan’. Since there has been tough contestation between these movies in theatres, it has become a hurdle for ‘Kaavalan’.

Karthi’s ‘Siruthai’ has occupied good number of theatres as the trade analysts have predicted that the commercial entertainer for this festive season will earn good profits for distributors and theatre owners.
