Ileana bags Rs. 1.5 crores for 3 Idiots remake

For the first time in her career, South India's slim beauty Ileana bagged a whopping Rs. 1.5 crores as total remuneration for the heroine's role in the Tamil and Telugu remakes of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots.

...The Telugu remake will have Prince Mahesh Babu in the lead, while Tamil remake stars Vijay. The first song of this Shankar directed flick was recently composed by music composer Harris Jayaraj.

After Anniyan (2005), this is the second time Harris Jayaraj is working with Shankar and this is the first time Shankar is attempting a remake exercise. Manoj Paramahamsa of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya fame will handle the camera.
