Ilaya Thalapathi's 'Velayudham' is set for a Deepavali release .Thameens is releasing Velayudham in kerala ,more than 100 theatres.and the action packed thriller is one of those movies, where the common man is forced to take responsibilities and whack the goons up, for the common good.Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay, who plays Vetrivel in this movie, leads a life of peace in a village, with his younger sister, played by Saranya Mohan. Hansika Motwani and Genelia are the heroines in this thriller.

'Velayudham' has its stunt sequences by Tom Delmar of 'Star Wars' and Braveheart fame, who in an interview expressed that the movie boasts off never-seen-before stunt sequences as the action sequences are complex and referred to Vijay as the one of the most dynamic actors.Looks like with an ensemble of star cast, brilliant action sequences, a superhero Vijay and the right dose of emotions, 'Velayudham' will take us all on Vijay's superhero journey.‘Velayudham’ is features Hansika Motwani, Genelia D’ Souza, Santhanam, Saranya Mohan and M S Baskar in prominent roles.
