Ilayathalapathy Vijay all happy with Velayudham's success

The Ilayathalapathy of Tamil Cinema Vijay is all happy with the latest success of his Velayudham. Vijay was waiting for a good commercial hit from many days and he has now witnessed a big hit at the right time in the form of Velayudham.

Apparently, 2011 seem to be lucky for Vijay as his Kaavalan, the remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard which was released early this year ran successfully in all centers. Now Velayudham has followed it and is collecting huge numbers at the TN Box-Office.

"I'm extremely happy with the success of Velayudham and I would love to do many more commercial entertainers which are treated differently by the directors and are loved by my fans," said Vijay. The actor also informed that he feels remakes as a healthy trend and he will also do more remakes like Nanban if they come his way.

Vijay's Nanban is getting ready for a pongal release while he has a film each with directors AR Murugadoss and Gautham Menon in the pipeline.
